Spend Madaraka Day weekend with me at Governor's Mugie House and Mugie Conservancy. We stayed here for 3 nights, I kept wishing it were longer! Riding the long tail boats of Bangkok is an experience that one must have, while visiting Thailand. Sylvia Uchi takes you on this thrilling experience through her YouTube channel. Picture this: the sun-kissed sky above, the gentle breeze caressing your skin, and the rhythmic hum of the motor as we glide through the labyrinthine canals aboard a traditional long tail boat, locally known as "ruea hang yao." Immediately you enter the cloud forest, you are met by a beautiful 35 meter tall waterfall, which made me feel a drop in temperature. It is designed to mimic a cloud mountain, so thanks to air-conditioning and jets of cool vapour hidden all over the place, it really did feel like I was up in the mountains. Because the temperature of Singapore outside usually ranges from 25 to 35 °C, which is pretty hot, it was such a breeze to be in the cloud forest. It replicates the cool moist conditions found in tropical mountain regions between 1,000 metres and 3,000 metres above sea level, found in South-East Asia, Central- and South America.
